Ingredients

  • 6 cups cooked chicken (from about 2 lb chicken), shredded

  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard

  • 5 oz Swiss cheese, sliced

  • 6 oz ham, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 4 oz butter , melted

  • 6 oz cream cheese , softened

  • 1-2 oz lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp white wine, optional

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
  • Place the chicken in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 in. baking dish. Top with layer pieces of ham.
  • In a blender, combine butter, cream cheese, white wine (if using), mustard, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until it becomes thick and smooth sauce.
  • Spread the sauce evenly over the chicken and ham. Top with Swiss cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until hot. Set the oven to broil for the last 2 minutes of the process so that the cheese will get more golden and bubbly.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Serve.
