Ingredients
6 cups cooked chicken (from about 2 lb chicken), shredded
1 tbsp dijon mustard
5 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
6 oz ham, cut into bite-size pieces
4 oz butter , melted
6 oz cream cheese , softened
1-2 oz lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp white wine, optional
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
- Place the chicken in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 in. baking dish. Top with layer pieces of ham.
- In a blender, combine butter, cream cheese, white wine (if using), mustard, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until it becomes thick and smooth sauce.
- Spread the sauce evenly over the chicken and ham. Top with Swiss cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until hot. Set the oven to broil for the last 2 minutes of the process so that the cheese will get more golden and bubbly.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Serve.
Notes
- To reduce its grease, you may serve the Keto chicken cordon blue with boiled vegetables or salads that keeps track on your diet.
