Ingredients
- For the garlic butter:
5 oz. butter, at room temperature
1 tbsp dried parsley
½ tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper
- For the rest:
4 pork chops
2 oz. butter, for frying
1 lb fresh green beans
salt and pepper
Directions
- In a large bowl, put together butter, garlic, parsley and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine and set aside.
- Make a few small cuts in the fat surrounding the chops to help them stay flat when frying. Season with salt and pepper.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and fry for about 5 minutes on per side, until golden brown and thoroughly cooked through.
- Remove from pan and keep warm.
- In the same pan, add bean, salt and pepper. Stir-fry over medium-high heat for a couple of minutes, until vibrant, slightly softened but still a bit crunchy.
- Transfer pork chops and green beans to a plate. Spread with a dollop of garlic butter on top. Enjoy!
Notes
- You may swap green beans with asparagus if you like. They are still crunchy and friendly to your keto diet.
Keto Pork Chops with Green Beans and Garlic Butter – Tips & Notes
Keto & Low-Carb Friendly:
- This dish is high in protein and healthy fats, with minimal carbs (6 g net carbs per serving), making it ideal for keto or low-carb diets.
- Green beans provide fiber and micronutrients while keeping the meal low-carb.
Preparation Tips:
- Make small cuts in the fat around pork chops to prevent curling during cooking.
- Season both pork chops and green beans well with salt and pepper to enhance flavors.
- Bring pork chops to room temperature before frying for even cooking.
Cooking Tips:
- Use medium-high heat for frying to get a nice golden-brown crust on the pork chops.
- Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even browning.
- Fry each side for about 5 minutes, depending on thickness; internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
Garlic Butter Tips:
- Mix butter, garlic powder, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper thoroughly for a flavorful topping.
- Add the garlic butter to the pork chops immediately after plating so it melts and coats the meat.

- Optional: add a splash of lemon juice or a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
Serving Suggestions:

- Pair with keto-friendly sides like mashed cauliflower or a simple salad to complete the meal.
